Week 14: Miracle filled week!

Ciao!! What a crazy, busy, overwhelming, wonderful week it's been! Sooo to begin, we got all moved into our disgustingly dirty basement apartment last Tuesday. We spent 8 hours deep cleaning it, just to get a call from the ZLs on Thursday night telling us we had to move out. Yep. Tears were shed, screams were yelled. Harold (the sweet old guy who lives upstairs) nearly broke his hip running down to see if we were okay after he heard us lol. There was an issue with the Elders moving into the apartments so they had to move us back to the same apartment complex...yes the one located 45 mins outside of our area:) but that's enough of my complaining because GOD IS GOOD! And even though it's been a crazy hectic week, we have been blessed with so many huge miracles ❤

- First. Henry (the stepdad of the little boy we have on date) texted us out of the blue this week and goes "Hey I wanna be baptized. What do I needa do?" Like whaaaaaaat. We are staring lessons with him tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. Henry is the kindest & most charitable person ever. He is always serving and looking out for others. I know the gospel will just magnify the person he already is and bring so much joy to him and his family.
-Next. We found someone Facebook finding!! We posted on a local page asking if anyone wanted a free Bible and we got 1 response back from a guy named Johnathan! Lol all the other responses we got were just people bashing. Johnathan told us about the struggles he's been going through and expressed to us how he wants to change his life through God! He specifically wanted to learn how to pray and read the bible. Since he doesn't live in our area we had to pass him off to some other Elders. But they called us a day later and told us Jonathan is GOLDEN! He has such a desire to know God and learn more about the church. This news made my whole day. Just to think that a little post on FB helped him take those first steps to changing his life!
- Lastly, the greatest miracle of all:) This Sunday we were sitting with Henry and Zuriko waiting for church to start. I was really hoping Maliana (the other cute 9 year old we are teaching) and her dad would show up for church but knew they probably wouldn't make it. About a minute before sacrament began, I turned around and saw Maliana and her WHOLE FAMILY sitting on the back row. My heart just about burst. I have been praying and praying for this family to come to church and they finally did! Cute Mali is one step closer to baptism and her family is now on board tooπŸ₯° Sunday was absolutely beautiful and filled with so many tender mercies!

This week taught me so much! Heavenly Father is just so wonderful. He is looking out for each one of his children. This is completely His work and I am so blessed to be an instrument in his hand.

I love being a missionary! I love Colorado! Life's a climb, but the view's great 🀟🏻

Ps. The pics this week are fire
