Week 46: SLC for the day

Ciao famiglia! This week was so good. So many tender mercies & my heart feels so full:)


- went to UTAH for the day:,) I went to see the Italian consulate to sign some papers for my visa! I didn't tell my family I was coming & completely surprised them hahaha they were shocked. I was so grateful I got to see them, especially my big bro Prest after over 2 years. I also got to see my best friend in the whole world SISTER SEARLE❤ + my mtc buds and a bunch of other Italian missionaries. It was the happiest day. The timing of everything could not have been more perfect. The Lord is definitely hearing & answering my prayers. Sad knowing I have to leave the FOCO mish, but so excited to be in Italy soon....

- had an amazing lesson with my girl Brittany! We brought this cute RM sister from our ward & it was perfect. They are both going through some similar things and were able to connect so well. Hopefully going to be putting her on date tomorrow. Prayers:))

- currently driving up to Martin's Cove in WY for a mission-wide Pday!! It's going to be so great I'm stoked. Also stoked to be back in Wyoming for the day--MAN did I miss those cows. Honestly I love this mission so much and don't know how I'm ever gonna leave it!

Lately, I have been studying President Nelson's recent talk about faith. I feel like I could study this talk for the rest of the year, it's so amazing. I love when he invites us to act on our faith. He says, "What would you do if you had more faith? Think about it. Write about it. Then receive more faith by doing something that requires more faith."

I have been thinking about that question & wondering what I would do if I had more faith. I think I'd be the boldest missionary in the world. I'd stand on soap boxes and call people to repentance. I wouldn't let a person pass without talking to them about the gospel. I'd be out working from sun-up to sun-down finding those lost souls. I realized that I wanna be that missionary!! And if I can keep increasing my faith, little by little, I'm gonna become that bold missionary & see even more miracles.

"For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith."
2 Nephi 27.23

Ciao a tuttiiii!! Buon Natale! Merry Christmas:) i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I had a great Christmas here in Trieste! It was honestly everything I ever hoped it would be and the awesome members made me feel completely at home! Something really cool I got to do on Christmas morning was go to catholic mass! We went with one of our investigators. We made a deal with him to do a chiesa scambio (church swap) so we would go to his church on saturday and he would come to ours on sunday! The mass was awesome! Very different, but still very spiritual. I think the best part was that I got to be in the shoes of the investigator, I got to feel how they might feel walking into a new and strange environment. I have come to gain a lot of respect and understanding for the Catholics here in Italy. It's been beautiful to learn more about them because in return, they are so more willing to learn about us! Week 81: love at home:)

Ciaooo amici miei!! This last week has been so full of miracles I can't even begin to count. The Lord is truly blessing this city and preparing people to accept the gospel! Oh how wonderful it's been! Here's a little rundown: This whole transfer we have been praying & fasting & working to receive a golden referral, and this week we ended up getting UN SACCO (a ton)!! - our recent convert Tani started sharing the gospel with his 16 year old son and now he wants to meet with us and start coming to church! - our awesome nonna (grandma) of the ward introduced us to her friend who introduced us to her sister & nephew and we had an AMAZING Restoration lesson with all 3 of them:) we gifted them each a book of Mormon and they were so excited! Very promising! - this cool 18 year-old member who's preparing for a mission wants us to teach his girlfriend with him! Week 78: Christmas in Italy!

Ciaooo a tutti!! Welcome back. This was probably one of my favorite weeks on the mission! I've never been so tired but happy at the same time HAH. Things are super bene! • we have been finding the coolest, most prepared, young people! Chiara & Aaron we met this week. It's so fun to teach them because I literally feel like I'm teaching myself! My favorite thing ever was seeing their faces just light up as we gave them a Book of Mormon and testified of the power found within the pages. They are both searching for something more in life and I'm so grateful God let our paths cross! • this week I got to go to 2 Zone Conferences! One was in Florence. Yes you read that right. I'm literally living a dream! 😅 We gave a training with the ZLs about building our discipleship. Fun fact for my FOCO friends lol Elder Toone is the ZL and it's a blast. THEN, 2 days later we went to Pordenone for our other zone conference and trained about perspective & purpose. So much ...
