Week 27: SEI MESSI :)

CIAO from freezing cold Wyoming! This week was fun:) we're getting super excited for Christmas over here and telling every person we meet about Light The World. I love being a missionary during this time because I get to completely focus on the true meaning of Christmas and share the joy that comes from Jesus Christ with everyone! It was a bit of a slower week with appointments falling through and people not answering, but we pushed through and still saw some little miracles.

I hit my 6 months as a missionary! So crazy. I swear I've been out here for like 4 days. But at the same time I feel like I've been a missionary my whole life HA! I am so incredibly grateful for these past 6 months and everything I have learned. I would not trade them for anything else. Not even those 15 weeks on bike...Missions rock and I am SO glad I decided to serve one.

Our branch is doing this awesome thing called "Living Christmas Cards." Members of the branch will request us to go visit their friends and "deliver" a Living Christmas Card to them (kinda like delivering someone a singing quartet on their bday). Except instead of singing, we share with them a 3-4 recitation of the Savior's birth and invite them to seek out Jesus Christ this Christmas season! It has been such a humbling and spiritual experience for us and those we deliver it to. Everyone has absolutely loved it and most of the time, it brings them to tears. Our hope is that they will call their friends to thank them for the "card" and those members will invite them to church!!

Here is a scripture that really stuck out to me this week:
3 Nephi 18:24
"Therefore, hold up your light that it may shine unto the world. Behold I am the light which ye shall hold up—that which ye have seen me do."

It is our responsibility to hold us Christ's light to the world! Light shines the brightest in darkness, and the world has never been more dark than right now. So go Light The World!! Share the amazing light of Jesus Christ and I promise you will be lifted in the process.🌟

That's about all I have this week! I have loved getting people's Christmas cards so PLZ keep em coming. I love u all so so much and your support means the world to me!

Ciao a tuttiiii!! Buon Natale! Merry Christmas:) i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I had a great Christmas here in Trieste! It was honestly everything I ever hoped it would be and the awesome members made me feel completely at home! Something really cool I got to do on Christmas morning was go to catholic mass! We went with one of our investigators. We made a deal with him to do a chiesa scambio (church swap) so we would go to his church on saturday and he would come to ours on sunday! The mass was awesome! Very different, but still very spiritual. I think the best part was that I got to be in the shoes of the investigator, I got to feel how they might feel walking into a new and strange environment. I have come to gain a lot of respect and understanding for the Catholics here in Italy. It's been beautiful to learn more about them because in return, they are so more willing to learn about us! Week 81: love at home:)

Ciaooo amici miei!! This last week has been so full of miracles I can't even begin to count. The Lord is truly blessing this city and preparing people to accept the gospel! Oh how wonderful it's been! Here's a little rundown: This whole transfer we have been praying & fasting & working to receive a golden referral, and this week we ended up getting UN SACCO (a ton)!! - our recent convert Tani started sharing the gospel with his 16 year old son and now he wants to meet with us and start coming to church! - our awesome nonna (grandma) of the ward introduced us to her friend who introduced us to her sister & nephew and we had an AMAZING Restoration lesson with all 3 of them:) we gifted them each a book of Mormon and they were so excited! Very promising! - this cool 18 year-old member who's preparing for a mission wants us to teach his girlfriend with him! Week 78: Christmas in Italy!

Ciaooo a tutti!! Welcome back. This was probably one of my favorite weeks on the mission! I've never been so tired but happy at the same time HAH. Things are super bene! • we have been finding the coolest, most prepared, young people! Chiara & Aaron we met this week. It's so fun to teach them because I literally feel like I'm teaching myself! My favorite thing ever was seeing their faces just light up as we gave them a Book of Mormon and testified of the power found within the pages. They are both searching for something more in life and I'm so grateful God let our paths cross! • this week I got to go to 2 Zone Conferences! One was in Florence. Yes you read that right. I'm literally living a dream! 😅 We gave a training with the ZLs about building our discipleship. Fun fact for my FOCO friends lol Elder Toone is the ZL and it's a blast. THEN, 2 days later we went to Pordenone for our other zone conference and trained about perspective & purpose. So much ...
