Week 81: love at home:)

Ciaooo amici miei!! This last week has been so full of miracles I can't even begin to count. The Lord is truly blessing this city and preparing people to accept the gospel! Oh how wonderful it's been! Here's a little rundown:
This whole transfer we have been praying & fasting & working to receive a golden referral, and this week we ended up getting UN SACCO (a ton)!!
- our recent convert Tani started sharing the gospel with his 16 year old son and now he wants to meet with us and start coming to church!
- our awesome nonna (grandma) of the ward introduced us to her friend who introduced us to her sister & nephew and we had an AMAZING Restoration lesson with all 3 of them:) we gifted them each a book of Mormon and they were so excited! Very promising!
- this cool 18 year-old member who's preparing for a mission wants us to teach his girlfriend with him! So awesome:)
"For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith."
Miracles. The Lord always provides!!
I want to share another tender experience that happened this last Sunday. Our friend Daniele (the one who we went to catholic mass with) came to our church this week! Right when he walked in he looked at us with a smile on his face and told us that it felt so "homey" like as if he was at home. He started meeting some members and making friends and his smile just kept getting bigger and bigger. We had an amazing sacrament meeting and the talks were literally tailored to his needs! He wanted to stay for 2nd hour so we joined him for Elder Quorum and he even made some great comments! He loved it so much & we're hoping to keep helping him progress. This was probably one of the happiest sundays on my mission. As I was sitting in sacrament thinking and pondering about the all the experiences on my mission, we began singing the closing hymn, "Love at Home." If you know my family you know this is our favorite hymn. We sing this hymn at every devotional we used to have with my mere mere and papa. Sitting there in that moment, I have never felt more at home. I have never felt so much joy. I felt in my heart my angel grandparents, who were some of the greatest missionaries I know, telling me how proud they were of me and this mission I have served. It was a feeling I will never forget. I never thought I could feel so at home while being so far away, but truly home is wherever the love of God dwells. Grateful for Colorado & Wyoming & Genova & Trieste that have become home to me.
Last week best week here we goooooo!
Tanto amore, sorella pitt
