Week 38: halfway there & liviv on lots of prayers
CIAO! Wow whatta week it has been here in Longmont. Lots of meetings, miracles & MEALS. Got the news we can eat in members homes now:) wahoooo I never thought this day would come!
Highlights:
- had MLC & it was awesome! We crushed all of our mission goals, so we are stretching for higher ones this month. It's so amazing because we are finding, teaching & baptizing more people than the mission was in 2019, BEFORE covid!
- had such a spiritual zone meeting about "the worth of souls" & got the zone excited about finding those lost souls! I made 50 oreo truffles to eat afterward and everyone loved it. hahah I swear I am becoming my mother😂
- showed up to a lesson with our 15-year old friend Anai & she brought her cousin who wants to be taught too!!
- had 6 lessons back-to-back HA it was so awesome and we were zonked by the end of the night
-got an email about my visa for ITALY!
I was starting to think Italy would never happen so I was literally shocked to see it. I got all my stuff together in one day and sent it in as fast as I could:) This was such an answer to countless prayers & makes me want to work even harder during my time here in FoCo!
We had an amazing and inspired Zone Conference yesterday. We talked all about who we are, why we are here & who God expects us to become! It was exactly what I & so many other missionaries needed to hear. One thing President told us that I loved was: "The world is full of starters, BE A FINISHER." The end is near & this work will be finished one way or another. So we might as well all be a huge part of it!
I hit 9 months tomorrow which is CRAZY! I am so grateful for the amazing first half of my mission & can't wait for what's ahead. Things have been so wonderful. Our teaching pool is growing each week! Heavenly Father has seriously been guiding us through His work. The days are so busy, tiring, full of ups & downs, but I've never been so genuinely happy!
I love you all so much & appreciate the support more than you know❤
TI AMO TANTO,
Sorella Pitt
P.S. peep the foto of my reaction when I got the Italy email
