Week 45: happy coincidences
Hello hello!! Another great week in LoCo:) Here are some highlights:
- BRITTANY. Elect. Golden. I'm convinced she's the reason I'm here. She was taught before Covid hit and was really progressing until the world got crazy and things fizzled out. We reaching out to her and she responded with: "I have been thinking about you Sisters! Can we meet Wednesday at 4?" lol if only all our friends could set up their own lessons. We had an amazing lesson about God's love and the spirit was so strong. I've gotta good feeling about this one:))
- went on exchanges and contacted a lady I found on FB back in October! She was super interested and we are teaching her this week.
- filmed a Samoan dancing video with my Poly Sistas for our Facebook page! Hahah I wish I was polynesian. Don't we all?!
- just to add to the polynesian things....an Elder in our mission who does fire knife dancing let me give it a shot😂
- MLC was inspiring. We talked all about President Nelson's latest Conference talk. We decided what the Lord expects of us & what we need to do to change! We are left the meeting feeling spiritually enriched and empowered!!
I absolutely love this quote by President Monson I ran across in my studies:
“There is a guiding hand above all things. Often when things happen, it’s not by accident. One day, when we look back at the seeming coincidences of our lives, we will realize that perhaps they weren’t so coincidental after all.”
As I look back at all the "happy coincidences" of my mission, I feel so full. From my companions, to the members, to the converts, to the missionaries. The places I've seen, experiences I've had, and testimony I have grown, could not have come any other way. I know that being sent to this mission & serving at this time was no coincidence. It was the guiding & loving hand of my Father in Heaven💙
Ciao ciao,
Sorella Pitt:)
