Week 57:sono incinta di gemelli👐

Ciaooooo I'm alive and well! sorry i haven't been writing emails!! Lol I promised my mom I'd send one this week:) 

WOW one whole transfer down and we survived! To be honest I had my doubts! But with lots of help from the Lord and probably all my guardian angels putting in extra hours....we had an amazing transfer! We saw so many little miracles, made a million mistakes and learned a lot. I LOVE GENOVA!

Highlights:
- ward party!! The first ward activity they've had in 2 years. It was so fun! We had a volleyball tournament on the beach and it was so classic watching all the cute Italians interact together. I still can't figure out if they are yelling cuz they love each other or hate each other??
- a man we are teaching went in for surgery this week and asked if he could receive a priesthood blessing before! We met at the church with a member in our ward, taught a lesson & had the blessing! It was bellissima:))
- we have been starting  all our of lessons by singing un inno (hymn) together!! Such a game changer. The spirit is immediately there and everyone loves it. Maybe all the solos I had to sing in sacrament in Wyoming are paying off??
- discovered a million more words that I've been saying wrong!! I thought the word "carissima" meant "very cute" but it actually means "very expensive" so I've been going around telling everyone they have expensive babies...

Soooo if you haven't google translated the subject line yet, here's the news. Sorella Hatch is being transferred to Firenze (sono gelosa) and just when I thought things couldn't get any crazier... I will be staying here to train 2 new missionaries. Hahaha I literally asked Presidente if he was joking when he told me. It's like im having deja vu from last year in Colorado but double the anxiety!! I'm feeling very inadequate but excited for this opportunity that the Lord has given me. I going to be relying on Him now more than I ever have before! 

2 Tim 1:8-9
" but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began"

I know that this is the Lord's work and not my own! I have faith that He will qualify me and suffice for all of my weaknesses. Still scared out of my mind but I can do hard things!!

I love you all so much! Thank you for the support, prayers, emails, advice, etc. It truly means the world to me. Vi voglio tantissimo bene!

Ciao a tuttiiii!! Buon Natale! Merry Christmas:) i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I had a great Christmas here in Trieste! It was honestly everything I ever hoped it would be and the awesome members made me feel completely at home! Something really cool I got to do on Christmas morning was go to catholic mass! We went with one of our investigators. We made a deal with him to do a chiesa scambio (church swap) so we would go to his church on saturday and he would come to ours on sunday! The mass was awesome! Very different, but still very spiritual. I think the best part was that I got to be in the shoes of the investigator, I got to feel how they might feel walking into a new and strange environment. I have come to gain a lot of respect and understanding for the Catholics here in Italy. It's been beautiful to learn more about them because in return, they are so more willing to learn about us! Week 81: love at home:)

Ciaooo amici miei!! This last week has been so full of miracles I can't even begin to count. The Lord is truly blessing this city and preparing people to accept the gospel! Oh how wonderful it's been! Here's a little rundown: This whole transfer we have been praying & fasting & working to receive a golden referral, and this week we ended up getting UN SACCO (a ton)!! - our recent convert Tani started sharing the gospel with his 16 year old son and now he wants to meet with us and start coming to church! - our awesome nonna (grandma) of the ward introduced us to her friend who introduced us to her sister & nephew and we had an AMAZING Restoration lesson with all 3 of them:) we gifted them each a book of Mormon and they were so excited! Very promising! - this cool 18 year-old member who's preparing for a mission wants us to teach his girlfriend with him! Week 78: Christmas in Italy!

Ciaooo a tutti!! Welcome back. This was probably one of my favorite weeks on the mission! I've never been so tired but happy at the same time HAH. Things are super bene! • we have been finding the coolest, most prepared, young people! Chiara & Aaron we met this week. It's so fun to teach them because I literally feel like I'm teaching myself! My favorite thing ever was seeing their faces just light up as we gave them a Book of Mormon and testified of the power found within the pages. They are both searching for something more in life and I'm so grateful God let our paths cross! • this week I got to go to 2 Zone Conferences! One was in Florence. Yes you read that right. I'm literally living a dream! 😅 We gave a training with the ZLs about building our discipleship. Fun fact for my FOCO friends lol Elder Toone is the ZL and it's a blast. THEN, 2 days later we went to Pordenone for our other zone conference and trained about perspective & purpose. So much ...
