Mom & Dad, On my 5 hour train ride this morning I had a lot of time to think about my mission and all of the amazing experiences I've had. With Thanksgiving coming up, I've been trying to reflect on all of the many blessings I have received over the past 17 months. Secondary to the growth in my relationship with God & Jesus Christ, is the growth in my relationships with you two. I cannot even begin to describe how much I love you. I am amazed at how lucky I am to have you as my parents, my best friends, and my biggest cheerleaders through life. I have grown to become even more grateful for you both as I have been serving the mission. I think back on the person I was 3 years ago and it's hard for me to recognize that girl. I was not my happy, funny and cheerful self. I was so self consumed that I seemed to abandon my relationship with you guys and with God. I can't even imagine how hard that must have been. Ciaooo cari amici!! Come state voi? I am doing well here in Trieste:) haven't gotten blown away by the wind yet so that's a plus. I got a new companion and she is a beast. Rolls out of bed and does 100 pushups every morning kind of beast. God knew I needed to get in shape before I come home😂 These last two weeks have been awesome. We have been working really hard and seeing tender mercies everyday! The other day we were walking to an appointment and accidentally ended up taking the long way there. We ran into an 80 year old lady who was riding her bike back from doing her grocery shopping (the italian women here are incredible)! We started talking to her and helped her take her heavy bags up to her apartment. We ended up sharing a message with her about Christ and praying with her! She was brought to tears with gratitude and kept telling us what a miracle it was that we met! So cool knowing that God helped our paths to cross that day and we were able to bring her closer to Chr...

Ciao a tutti:)) Wow. Another transfer down and I'm in denial that I only have 12 weeks left on the mission!! What the heck time plz slow down. We got transfer news and I will be staying here in windy Trieste! My cute comp is leaving me to serve in the little branch that we were covering about an hour away. I'm excited for a new transfer & new goals & lots of miracles!! Speaking of miracles... this last week was miracle filled! Honestly nothing big or grand really happened, but I decided I needed to stop getting discouraged about the things that weren't happening, and truly open my eyes to see the tender mercies that occur every single day! Ciao a tutti:) eccomi qua! I am alive & well & FREEZING. Trieste is known for their crazy strong windstorms (crazier than Cville)! Basically the winds here are so strong they pick up cars and throw them into the sea?! There are chains all along the sidewalks to hold on to so you don't blow away...it's an adventure and I'm loving it:) We have been working hard these past weeks trying to get these areas up and moving. We've been fasting and praying to find people to teach without any luck. It's discouraging:/ It's hard to know if there are people here who actually need the gospel when I can't seem to find them. I've  been praying to find hope and motivation through it all! Buongiornoooo:) whats up everyone! Well after 3 trains & 7 hours of traveling all alone with 2 giant suitcases...I made it to the beautiful Trieste! I didn't think anywhere could be prettier than Genova but WOW was I wrong this place is gorgeous. I think God felt bad for keeping me landlocked in the states for so long that now he's letting me serve in all the seaside cities! My comp and I are whitewashing (aka both brand new to the area) so we've been spending the last two weeks working to get to know the members and finding people to teach! We have seen so many miracles, big & little. They have helped me remember that God is truly in the details of our lives. Here's just one I wanted to share: - We were on the bus the other day and a group of high schoolers got on. I noticed one of the girls who was standing alone in the back of the bus and looked like she didn't have any friends.  The spirit told me to open my mouth and talk to her so I did! I started aski...

ECCO MI! È VIVA! Another transfer down and I'm getting worse and worse at sending these weeklys...  But let me just start by saying I am so happy. I feel so lucky to be a servant of the Lord serving in the beautiful country of Italy with the most amazing people:) There's honestly no one else I'd rather be. Literally the opposite corner of the mission. 7 hours on a train baby!! - we met this cool 25 yr old from Colombia who literally came up to us on the street and wanted to talk because he saw Jesus's name on our tags!!
