Ciaooo amici miei!! This last week has been so full of miracles I can't even begin to count. The Lord is truly blessing this city and preparing people to accept the gospel! Oh how wonderful it's been! Here's a little rundown: This whole transfer we have been praying & fasting & working to receive a golden referral, and this week we ended up getting UN SACCO (a ton)!! - our recent convert Tani started sharing the gospel with his 16 year old son and now he wants to meet with us and start coming to church! - our awesome nonna (grandma) of the ward introduced us to her friend who introduced us to her sister & nephew and we had an AMAZING Restoration lesson with all 3 of them:) we gifted them each a book of Mormon and they were so excited! Very promising! - this cool 18 year-old member who's preparing for a mission wants us to teach his girlfriend with him! So awesome:) "For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I ...

Ciaooooo!! Buon anno a tutti! Happy new year! I hope you all had a great new years. Italy goes crazy for new years. Fireworks were going off all night in every single square but I slept through it all HA there's no sleep like mission sleep. This week was great! We went on a lot of exchanges which is always the best. I learned so much and saw lots of miracles! We also had some amazing lessons with the members in our ward. I think the highlight of the week was doing a virtual temple tour with our sweet friend Onorina! My bestest friend, Sorella Castellano, from the fort collins mission who's now serving in Rome gave us the tour:) it was so special to see her eyes light up when she saw the temple and heard about eternal families. The sweetest part was at the end of the tour she said the prayer for us. It went a little like this, " dear jesus,  thank you for these beautiful girls who help me know about your church. Thank you for this beautiful temple. Help me lord that one day...

Week 79: A true Italian Chirstmas!

Ciao a tuttiiii!! Buon Natale! Merry Christmas:) i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I had a great Christmas here in Trieste! It was honestly everything I ever hoped it would be and the awesome members made me feel completely at home! Something really cool I got to do on Christmas morning was go to catholic mass! We went with one of our investigators. We made a deal with him to do a chiesa scambio (church swap) so we would go to his church on saturday and he would come to ours on sunday! The mass was awesome! Very different, but still very spiritual. I think the best part was that I got to be in the shoes of the investigator, I got to feel how they might feel walking into a new and strange environment. I have come to gain a lot of respect and understanding for the Catholics here in Italy. It's been beautiful to learn more about them because in return, they are so more willing to learn about us! And we truly aren't as different as we might think. I find ...

Week 78: Christmas in Italy!

Ciaooo a tutti!! Welcome back. This was probably one of my favorite weeks on the mission! I've never been so tired but happy at the same time HAH. Things are super bene! • we have been finding the coolest, most prepared, young people! Chiara & Aaron we met this week. It's so fun to teach them because I literally feel like I'm teaching myself! My favorite thing ever was seeing their faces just light up as we gave them a Book of Mormon and testified of the power found within the pages. They are both searching for something more in life and I'm so grateful God let our paths cross! • this week I got to go to 2 Zone Conferences! One was in Florence. Yes you read that right. I'm literally living a dream! 😅 We gave a training with the ZLs about building our discipleship. Fun fact for my FOCO friends lol Elder Toone is the ZL and it's a blast. THEN, 2 days later we went to Pordenone for our other zone conference and trained about perspective & purpose. So much ...

Week 77: "I just want to blanket myself and study all day"

**the subject line is a direct quote from our ysa Nigerian member who I'm convinced is gonna be a prophet on day lol Ciaooooo!! Life is so good! Here's a quick update from me:) - I have never been so happy! Seriously I have just been soaking up the good & the bad & everything in between. I figure I only get a few more sleepless nights of stressing over the salvation of these sweet italian souls so I gotta live it up:)) - we got invited my a old lady in our ward to go watch her & her old lady friends sing carols! It was classic. I've decided that watching a bunch of Italian grandmas sing jingle bells is the greatest thing in the world...next to a good carbonara - we had our english class on zoom and just one person showed up. But she was a nonmember! I felt inspired to ask her if she has any questions about our church and she completely opened up & asked us some great things! So we ended up having an awesome lesson on the gospel of Jesus Christ and she's ...

Quick email to make my mama happy:) CIAO! eccomi! This is my last transfer 🥺 crazy. Time is flying way too fast. But let me just say that in this very moment I don't think I've ever been happier!! Life is so good. GOD IS SO GOOD. And he's been blessing us with so many tender mercies! Some highlights: - I got a new comp and she is the best!! We spent our first day running for 20 minutes straight trying to catch a train. Nothing like two 20 year olds in long dresses and trench coats running through the streets of Trieste with Book of Mormons in their hands and the wind in their hair:,) - CHRISTMAS!! Christmas here is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The streets are filled with lights, there is music playing in the streets, little markets set up all around town and so much joy in the air! But above all, we got to spend all day talking about Christ and lighting the world! It's just so wonderful. - DAVIDE! I have been praying for the last 4 months for a prepared...

To my sweet aunties!

Hello you beautiful women! With Thanksgiving coming up I just wanted to take some time to thank you all for everything you have done to support me these last 17 months. And quite honestly, these last 20 years!! Besides my mom of course, you are truly all my biggest cheerleaders and I have felt so much love from each of you. I can't tell you how many times I have received an email from one of you that was exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. I thank you for your genuine love and sensitiviy to the spirit. You are the seriously remarkable! I read this talk that Papa gave in 1974 and this quote he said reminded me of you all, his precious daughters, "The way we live is our clearest testimony, particularly when we are under strain and threat and still live righteously. Over time, it reflects what we really believe. If our actions are in harmony with what we say we believe, the Lord will use us and bear testimony through us in some way to every person we meet." Not onl...
