CIAO MIA FAMIGLIA! How's everyone doing? Crazy that school  is  starting up already....I feel like just yesterday I was walking to my first day of class at BYUH😅 time flies! Send me all the back-to-school pictures and updates please:) I seriously love getting stuff throughout the week. Good week here in Colorado! Lots of biking. Lots of Facebook finding. Lots of ups and downs. We did have some miracles  this  week though! We had dinner with a member family and got to meet the daughter's boyfriend who's not a member! He's interested in learning about the gospel because he knows it means a lot to his gf. So we will be teaching him every Wednesday night! I have a great feeling about it cuz he'll have his girlfriend there for support. We are also going to be teaching  this  family'a grandmother! But she doesn't know that yet;) She's always loved the missionaries but has only been taught by elders many years ago.....I'm pretty sure she's just been wa...

Week 10: Auntie Rona

What's up famiglia, hope everyone is doing good and getting excited to go back to school aka ZOOM !! Anyways, don't let my subject line scare you cuz I actually didn't get corona this week but we had a close call lol. A member texted us Sunday night and told us she texted positive for the Rona...and so we got really worried cause we knew we had been in contact with her daughter and thought we were gonna be quarantined. I don't think I've ever said so many prayers in one day hahaha I was so bummed thinking we were gonna be stuck inside for 2 weeks. But Heavenly Father pulled through and answered our prayers:) The nurse told us that since we were only in contact with the daughter we should be fine to still work but just be cautious. Blessings people, blessings.  This week was good! We did a lot of service which was super fun:) We helped a member family move, helped a member's friend load a storage unit and (of course) did some weeding. I'm so grateful to be ab...

Ciao my wonderful family and friends!! I miss you all and hope everyone is staying safe and healthy:) Honestly this week went by in 2 seconds and I can barely remember what happened but it was good!  -For district counsel we played that gross jelly bean game (Bean Boozled)  and I bet this elder in my district to eat a HUGE handful of them all at once...and of course he had to do it cuz he thinks he's a big tough guy...couldn't do it though HA. It was so hilarious he was gagging and crying -We have been talking to this lady named Joy! Shes has such a hard life and has been through a lot. When we see her we just spend the whole time building her up & complimenting her and she just loves us for it. Last week she goes: "Stop making me feel so good! You're gonna make me wanna go to church with you!" This week she goes: "What time is church on Sunday? Can I sit with you guys?" Made me heart skip a beat:) I just love God's children!! -We had some succes...

Week 8: mini miracles!

Ciao a tutti! I survived week 2 and lemme just say I finally understand what missionaries mean when they say the days are so long but the weeks fly by! I feel like I've been here in Colorado for 5 years but also 2 seconds at the same time HA (nothing better than a good exaggeration). Anyways, this week was good and I finally feel like I'm getting the hang of everything! We had a zone meeting on Wednesday which was fun because I got to meet all the missionaries in our zone. The ZLs talked a lot about having spiritual power and being recognized as representatives of Christ. It's amazing to think that I am literally standing in the place of the Savior. Doing His work and inviting others to become like Him. SO COOL! We also talked about Facebook finding and how to act natural and friendly over Facebook--lol instead of just scaring everyone off by stalking their profiles and asking random questions like: "I see you like to ski! I love to ski too! Anyways do you believe in J...
