Week 28: the reason for the season
BUON NATALE!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! This week was seriously so great and I am embracing every accept of the Wyoming lifestyle:) imma come home a brand new women who knows everything there is to know about hunting, horses and hillbillies 🤠The people here are the best and really only care about the most important things in life--family, God and animals (and their guns lol)
Some highlights:
- we sheared sheep. Yup you heard me. We helped our landlord shear his sheep!! We were in charge of catching the little suckers and dragging them over to be sheared. I ended up just chasing them in circles...
- had an AMAZING Christmas Program at church this sunday:) so many people came! Our tiny little chapel was packed full and it made me so happy. Sis Jepson and I ended the program by singing " He Sent His Son". Tears were shed. Spirit was strong. I love Christmas sunday!
- delivered a million living Christmas Cards to nonmembers who absolutely loved them!!
- had Zone Conference in Casper! It was amazing. We talked all about becoming converted unto the Lord. It really hit me that conversation is a lifelong journey. We should constantly be striving to deepen our conversation every single day.
- decked out our barn in Christmas decorations
- discovered a new found love for baby kittens
- wore my first pair of coveralls
I want to end with o the words of our amazing Prophet :
"My dear friends, as we near the end of a challenging year, one that may feel to many as a time of uncertainty and darkness, let us never forget that the light of hope still shines brightly. Jesus Christ is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. As we turn our hearts to Him, He will pour out His love for us in unmeasured ways."
He is the constant light in this dark and scary world ! Remember Him this Christmas season:)
TI AMO TANTO,
Sorella Pitt
