First month down as a missionary WAHOOO I feel like time has flown by but at the same time I am more than ready to get out of my house and start teaching in the field! Quick update of the past 2 weeks:  I got temporarily reassigned to the Fort Collins Colorado Mission! I am super stoked to go and feel so blessed to be leaving on July 21-just three days after I finish the MTC. I feel great about this reassignment and know that there are people in Colorado being prepared to meet me! I'm still hopeful to get to Italy soon, but happy to serve the Lord wherever he needs me. I know that the gospel is needed everywhere and every person deserves to hear this wonderful message. We taught another Italiano lesson to Matthew and it went great! Besides the fact that he wanted to know about the Plan of Salvation but we haven't learned any of the words for that lesson yet....showbiz baby! I'm halfway through the MTC WHAT?! It's weird to think that if I was an English speaking missionary I'd be leaving to go to the field next week! Time flies when you're working hard and learning a lot:) Had my first Italiano TRC this week and it actually went great! I only understood about 20% of what the guy said but that's progress! I've realized that all I can do about the language is work & study hard and eventually it will come. Also, I will most likely get my reassignment this week so that is exciting! It's kinda fun cuz I get to have a second mission call. What are everyone's guesses?? What's up everyone! Well I just finished up my first full week at the MTC and I can confidently say that I've learned more in the past week than I did in my whole 2 semesters at BYU Hawaii, hahahahah! Seriously though, I feel like my brain is completely fried and I can't possibly memorize another vocab word...until I remind myself that I've still got 5 weeks left and a long way to go!!  This week had a lot of ups and downs for sure but overall it was great:) My classes honestly go by way fast now and I feel like there is never enough time in the day for all the studying I need to do. This week my teacher had some of his friends from his mission (including one of his converts in Italia) zoom into our class so that we could practice teaching them! Ciao miei amici e famiglia!! Sorella Pitt here, coming at you live from the MTC! AKA THE PITT RESIDENCE:) Just wanted to write a quick email telling all of you how much I love being a missionary!! I got to start the online mtc on my birthday which was so great! I'm in a trio with the cutest companions ever--Sorella Kroff and Sorella Nydegger. They are so awesome and fun, I seriously lucked out! I also have an awesome district and great teachers. All of us wanna get to Italy soooooo bad (plz Corona chill out) and our teachers hype us up with all the gorgeous pictures they show us from their missions. Please pray I will be able to go there soon! I've never in my life stared at a computer screen for this many hours hahaha! Zoom is my best friend these days!
